An All Progressives Congress (APC) grassroots mobilisation group, PBAT Nationwide Campaign Organisation, has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, pledging to mobilise Nigerians to support his re-election in 2027.
The group’s National Chairman, Mr Anthony Oladejo, made this known on Tuesday in Abuja during a news conference to mark official unveiling of the national grassroots movement.
Oladejo said that the organisation was fully prepared to engage, inspire and mobilise Nigerians from the grassroots level across the country for Tinubu’s re-election.
He described the group as a citizens-driven political force and strategic mobilisation platform committed to strengthening democracy and promoting active citizen participation.
According to him, the news conference was convened to formally endorse Tinubu for re-election and reaffirm the group’s commitment to mobilising support for the president ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He added that the organisation would also mobilise support and votes for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
Oladejo said the group was committed to promoting inclusive governance, democratic participation and the implementation of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He described the organisation as a product of years of grassroots engagement, political advocacy, community mobilisation and party strengthening across Nigeria.
According to him, this group was built on the conviction that democracy becomes stronger when citizens are organised, empowered and actively engaged in the political process.
Oladejo said members of the organisation had remained active in mobilising support, building political awareness and strengthening party structures across the six geopolitical zones.
“In 2025, after years of visible contribution and measurable impact, our movement re-approached the APC for recognition and the opportunity to lead grassroots mobilisation for the party in the 2027 general election.
“Following due engagement and verification of our nationwide structures, we were officially recognised and endorsed as an ‘A’ category APC support group for the 2027 general election,” he said.
He added that the organisation had established active structures in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), making it one of the country’s most organised grassroots political mobilisation platforms.
“This made our group one of the most organised, most structured and most deeply rooted grassroots political mobilisation platforms in Nigeria’s democratic history, ” he said.
He said through the dedication of the group’s members, it had established active presence in the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.(NAN)
