The Minister of Defence, retired Gen. Christopher Musa, has felicitated the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on her birthday, describing her as a beacon of hope, grace and compassion.
Musa, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mrs Leah Katung-Babatunde, commended the First Lady for her dedication to empowering women and youths and supporting vulnerable communities.
He said her Renewed Hope Initiative had made significant contributions to social welfare and the socio-economic development of the country.
The minister also commended Tinubu for her support for the Armed Forces and their families, noting her empathy and encouragement for personnel serving on the frontline.
“Her motherly guidance, wisdom and selfless advocacy for peace and national unity remain invaluable to the nation,” Musa said.
He prayed that God would grant the First Lady good health, long life, wisdom and renewed strength to continue her service to humanity.
Musa said the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces of Nigeria, the First Family and Nigerians joined in wishing Tinubu a memorable birthday and many more years of impactful service.
